Amni Musfirah is the songwriter behind one of Southeast Asia's biggest voices — and a singer who makes you stop whatever you are doing and listen.
Her voice is Pop, R&B and soul at its most honest: rich, textured, and emotionally fearless. It is the kind of voice that does not perform feeling — it carries it. Trained at Berklee College of Music, Amni did not just learn to sing. She learned to make a song mean something.
That gift has taken her further than most dare to aim. She wrote and produced “Cenderamaya” for Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza — the most decorated artist in the Malay-speaking world — earning her place among the region's most respected creative voices before most people in Singapore knew her name. She performed on the National Day Parade stage to over four million viewers. She sang at the 2010 Youth Olympics. She became the voice of Marina Bay Sands' Wonder Full show, heard by more than four million visitors a year from every corner of the globe. Her film work earned Best Sound Design and soundtrack song for the short animation film, “Walinong Sari”. She has toured sold out shows in Shanghai, Bangkok, and Guangzhou and more.
None of it came easy. Amni built this career note by note, credit by credit, in a market that has never made it simple to be heard beyond its own shores. That is precisely what makes her trajectory remarkable — and what makes everything still ahead of her feel inevitable.
After her debut album, CROWN, Amni is working on releasing another body of work soon. Alongside her music, she leads Blue Empire Entertainment, the production company she founded to give exceptional musicians the home and the platform they deserve.
She earned every room she has ever walked into. And she is only getting started.
